Description
The Low Altitude Assault Transport (LAAT) Gunship used by the Republic is an extremely versatile craft designed for rapid, near-to-ground transport of up to 30 clone troopers into battle.
Lighter and faster than the mobile artillery, the gunship carries an impressive arsenal of weapons systems designed for both air-to-air combat and air-to-ground support, and had a rear hangar that could hold up to 4 speeder bikes.
The 3 rotating anti-personnel turrets at the nose and tail help clear a safe path for ground troops.
