During the postwar years the Federation received information that the Zeon remnants could have been developing mobile suits with nuclear capabilities. As a countermeasure, the Federation decided to develop a nuclear capable mobile suit of their own, and the result was the RX-78GP02A Gundam Physalis. The Gundam had to be bulky enough to handle a nuclear armament, a fact that resulted in one of the most intimidating Gundam designs in the UC timeline. That massive and imposing appearance has been recreated in this kit, which features the giant bazooka, beam sabers, and a shield that can store the bazooka inside!
-There are 16 runners of parts here.
-Those shoulder "binders" are particularly interesting, especially the way the outer nozzle pivots downward.
-The "atomic bazooka" can be mounted in the hand in firing position, or it breaks down into two pieces, the barrel mounting in the inside of the shield (see photo), with the remainder mounting on the GP02's back.
-Comes with the usual stickers, inner-mechanism detail, multiple sets of hands, beam saber, rifle.
-Simple instruction included in a box.
