An attractive high-school girl and powerful exorcist, Maria Akeno is finally being adapted into figure form! Maria is the protagonist of Sister Blood, an original novel featuring illustrations by famous illustrator Tony Taka.
Maria’s appearance from the original work is accurately recreated by Tony series veteran sculptor Yuzo. The exorcist’s lithe form, the arch of her back, and flowing black hair are all beautifully sculpted, leaving no detail from the illustration uncovered.
The statue’s design is based on the most recent version of the character’s outfit, and all of the changes made to the original concept illustration were carefully supervised by Tony himself. The large revolver in Maria’s hands was brushed up using 3D data to achieve a high level of realism and detail.
