Life at Midlands Park Centre - Tragedy & Closure of Thai Cafe
Published 15 Sep 2021

The Kafe Armizan Shah, mostly well-known in these parts for their Thai cuisine, lies closed. Around 2 weeks ago, on Merdeka Day 2021, the lady boss of the cafe passed away suddenly during work hours.

There was a lot of conflicting rumors and stories on what happened but from what we understand now after a couple of weeks of investigation, it seems that the lady boss collapsed at the cafe after working there despite having high fever.

Security guards came over and noticed that she was not breathing so they immediately called an ambulance. The ambulance brought her to Adventist Hospital nearby but it was already too late and she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Naturally her death sparked a Covid-19 scare at Midlands for a few days following her sudden passing, but after testing she and her whole familiy tested negative for Covid-19. Our Midlands security showed us a certified statement that all involved parties tested negative as proof. So the prevailing theory for her death is actually a possible severe reaction to side effects of C-19 vaccination but so far it is all speculation.

The fact is the cafe is now closed and will probably remain so for the foreseeable future. It is kind of sad for us at Toypanic since we used to eat our lunches there on occasion and I personally really liked their fried rice and will miss it.

We Panickers would like to offer the family and workers of Kafe Armizan Shah our heartfelt condolences on their loss and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
